Úvaly na dobových pohlednicích.

Dobových pohlednic Úval se dá kupodivu sehnat docela slušné množství, ať už po různých antikvariátech nebo na internetových aukcích.

Dají se koupit za pár korun, ale také za několik stovek. Dají se sehnat v různé kvalitě. Dají se sehnat prošlé poštou s poštovní známkou a razítkem dané doby, nebo se dají sehnat i čisté-nepoužité. Záleží také na tom, v jaké kvalitě se pohlednice zachovaly a jaký motiv Úval zachycují.

Teprve když jsem sehnal několik starých pohlednic s dobovými fotografiemi Úval, uvědomil jsem si, že není zase tak jednoduché jedním snímkem charakterizovat toto město. Jsou města, kde je velké centrální náměstí, nebo nějaká jiná dominanta jako chrám, zámek nebo hrad. U takových měst je pak snadné jako ústřední motiv tuto dominantu dát i na pohlednici. Nebo může mít pohlednice dva až tři snímky dominant daného města. To je však většinou na úkor velikosti snímku a tím i zobrazení daného objektu a jeho vypovídací hodnoty.

Běžně se dají sehnat pohlednice Úval, kde je zachycen Prokůpkův mlýn. Jsou pohlednice Úval, kde se autor fotografie nějak snaží zachytit náměstí, které svým tvarem a délkou nebylo snadné dostat do hledáčku tehdejších fotoaparátů. Ideální záběr úvalského náměstí by snad byl jen z letadla. A jsou vzácnější pohlednice, na kterých je jako motiv někdy velmi konkrétní nebo již neexistující část města (most, cukrovar, konkrétní dům, vila atd.).

Dovolím si vám tedy přiblížit Úvaly ze starých pohlednic a jestli někoho tento článek osloví a ví, že doma někde také má dobové pohlednice nebo fotografie Úval, může se o ně tak jako já zde na stránkách ouvaly.cz podělit…


Úvaly 1921 nebo 1927 (razítko nečitelné) – pohled od dnešní restaurace „U Vinařů“ (nazývaná „Žluťák“) do ulice Klánovická směrem k nádraží a hotelu Budka

Úvaly 1921 nebo 1927 (razítko nečitelné) – pohled na náměstí, vpravo škola, v levé části fotografie můžete „tušit“ dnešní sokolovnu


Úvaly 1921 nebo 1927 (razítko nečitelné) – pohled ke schodům u žel. přejezdu, dům vpravo – dnes restaurace „Žluťák“

Úvaly 1936 – pohled k žel. přejezdu od žel. stanice (foceno ale spíš z hotelu Budka – naproti nádraží)


Úvaly – letopočet neznámý (komín cukrovaru vlevo se boural v roce 1929), vpravo železniční most (dnes již jiný) přes silnici vedoucí od náměstí na Škvorec (směrem vlevo k dnešní světelné křižovatce silnice Praha – Kolín). V pozadí se „tyčí“ věž hotelu Budka
